Not every route offers the chance to enjoy a beach swim at the end of each stage, but the Portuguese Coastal Way from Porto to A Guarda does just that. This route is perfect for sea lovers, spanning just over 100 kilometers between the vibrant city of Porto and the charming seaside town of A Guarda. Along the way, you’ll encounter stunning panoramic views of vast sandy beaches and estuaries teeming with diverse bird species.

This journey also provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of northern Portugal while savoring its renowned cuisine. With its smooth, flat terrain and minimal inclines, this path is accessible and enjoyable for all. What more could you ask for?
